About hit4x5 Photos

Hit4x5 Photos is the creative photography work of Perth-based photographer Hitesh Tulsani.

The name draws inspiration from the tradition of 4x5 large-format photography — a format long associated with patience, craftsmanship, and intentional image-making. It also carries a personal connection to an early fascination with photography through vintage Kodak Retina and Kodak Elektralite cameras, and the quiet ambition of one day stepping into the world of large-format imagery.

While wildlife and nature photography remain a strong creative focus, Hit4x5 Photos also explores portraiture, visual storytelling, commissioned work, and collaborative creative projects.

Several works have been internationally published and recognised through curated fine art photography platforms including 1x.com.

Whether creating fine art prints, collaborating on creative concepts, or capturing quiet moments in nature, the underlying philosophy remains the same — thoughtful composition, emotional connection, and creating images designed to be experienced beyond the screen.
